Hamilton's Story
Located in the heart of the historic Corktown neighborhood, Hamilton's is a distinguished dining establishment within the Godfrey Hotel Detroit, paying homage to Hamilton Carhartt, the visionary founder of the renowned workwear brand Carhartt. In 1905, Hamilton Carhartt established a factory on the site that now houses the Godfrey Hotel Detroit. This move played a pivotal role in the development of Corktown and underscored Carhartt's commitment to advocating for workers' rights.
Over the years, Carhartt has transitioned from being known solely for its durable workwear to becoming a fashion staple, lauded for its lasting quality and classic designs. The restaurant prides itself on offering a menu filled with timeless classics, each dish meticulously prepared using only the finest ingredients. Guests can enjoy their meals in a stylish and welcoming atmosphere, enhanced by a view of Michigan Avenue.
