About the event
It's time to give back to someone who has dedicated her life to God and community, Classie Kennebrew. She has made an incredible impact within the hospitality industry of Detroit, and you may know her from establishments such as Prime and Proper, Mad Nice, Townhouse Detroit, and Hamiltons at the Godfrey Hotel Detroit. In addition to her immeasurable influence on the Detroit restaurant scene, she's also extensively involved in the Greater Emmanuel Institutional Church of God and Christ, where she has been a devout and dedicated member for many years. Wherever Classie goes, she leaves a lasting impression with her quick wit, welcoming heart and memorable experiences.
On August 9th, Classie suffered a severe stroke. Classie is working on her long recovery but her journey is far from complete. It's now our turn to support her as she has supported so many of us over the years.
There will be a benefit dinner in efforts to lessen the financial burden on Classie and her family. The dinner will take place Sunday, September 22nd from 4 pm - 7 pm at Hamiltons at the Godfrey Hotel Detroit. All are welcome to come and support Classie and her family during this difficult time. If you cannot attend, donations are encouraged through this GoFundMe.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and kindness. Let's come together to support Classie through this challenging time.
